“Who are ya? Who are ya? Who are ya?”
Socks for Happy People F.C. had its first run out at a footie tournament in Surrey recently.
The rain poured, the wind blew, the referee needed glasses and all was well. We played like gentlemen, competed like lions and eventually bowed out in the first round.
But more important than winning games, in our humble opinion, was wearing great socks. And though there were some fine specimens on show, we thought our daring blue/green odd sock combo won outright, meaning we will return next year as top seeds when it comes to socks. Excellent!
