The beauty of bamboo
Our launch collection will be made almost completely from bamboo since it’s just so suited to socks!
- It’s far softer than cotton, and way more breathable
- It has fantastic wicking capability to keep your feet dry all day long
- The fibres thermo-control properties keep you naturally warmer in winter and cooler in summer
- Bamboo is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal (which drastically reduces odours!)
- It’s really gentle on sensitive skin
- and it also needs 8 times less water to grow than cotton
So bamboo is clearly very good, and we think once you’ve tried it you’ll not really want to go back, but it’s not perfect yet. So we are committed to improving the process of making bamboo fibre so that it’s even more environmentally friendly.
