I most certainly agree! I have seen a pretty large shift at least within where I live and in NYC which I frequent much. In the short time I have been researching this phenomenon I can say that there are more and more people out there taking initiatives for DIY projects, seeking to cut down on consumption in all areas and there are more companies catching on to this trend. The economic downturn has been great for companies which are emerging with a more eco-conscious way of doing and inspiring. I hope that this continues! “Necessity is indeed the mother of invention.” I heard that on a movie once and it rings so true today! Great post, Rich!

Wow! That guy is really good at being evil! So sad but true, Rich! Just think though, the more people like you and I spread the word the bigger the opportunity we have of making an impact. It really comes down to being grassroots about it and living the kind of lifestyle we want to see others live and being pioneers and great examples. I hope that you guys at SFHP and others with the same vision will continue to reach out to people and continue to share the information you come across with us.
